New Jerusalem Children’s Home – NJCH would like you to save the date for ‘Woman of Passion Lunch’, a platform for women from all walks of life to commemorate those before them, the women of 09 August 1956. Though the day will be one of remembrance and celebration, NJCH would like to fundraise on this day, to raise funds for its boy’s residential unit costed at R3.3 Million. The new residential unit will address the accommodation need of 40 boys currently staying in an overcrowded dormitory.

A ‘Reminder’ well received

DSC01268On Tuesday 16 June 2015 New Jerusalem Children’s Home ‘NJCH’ commemorated young people, youth, of 1976 in a big and special way. The organization; New Jerusalem Children’s Home aligned the message of the day to a campaign ‘Reminder of June 16 1976’ which served to correct the misconceptions shared amongst youth of today about the meaning of the day and how it has come to be celebrated, NJCH was able to achieve just that in grand fashion.

Youth flocked in by the hundreds from neighboring areas, schools and NGO’s to be part of the healthy festivities that focused on education and career exposure. Read More
