Ready for the next phase

On September 7, 2018 – New Jerusalem Children’s Home – NJCH, completed the construction of New Jerusalem Children’s Home, primary school – second storey slab. A long overdue construction phase of the educational block building – Lanto Montessori Primary school – an educational structure, which will be giving the children an opportunity to obtain the very authentic Montessori education across all their primary schooling life. 

New Jerusalem Children’s Home, is deeply humbled by the amount of support it has received during the construction of a second storey slab – from both individual men and woman – to the corporate communities, who came out to lend us a hand towards the completion of the construction of the second storey slab, bring NJCH – closer to a reality of giving the children and youth a new home for their primary learning and teaching needs.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home, aim to continue with the second storey brickwork on September 20, 2018 – NJCH, is pleased to announce to you, that all the needed building material for the second storey brickwork (cement, building sand, brickforce, bricks, window and door frames) have been sourced and are already onsite, ready to be bounded together and complete the educational structure, which will positively impact on a child educational life, through the Montessori teaching and learning methodology, which will be offered in the classrooms of this educational structure.

You might be looking to get involved in this exciting and unique project, giving an educational structure to the children and youth, a structure – which will be offering the children and youth a much needed, authentic and innovative Montessori education. There are a number of construction needs at hand – the most key and urgent construction need at the moment – is the roofing of the school structure. NJCH has collated the quotations for the roof, which has given us an indication of a close cost to have the structures roof, including the roof’s workmanship, currently the most cost–effective quote in our hands is R347 896, 54.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home, takes into account the current economic condition – the economic climate, might not allow for a single company or individual to sponsor/donate the total sum needed at a go. NJCH, would like to invite one thousand (1000) men and women – from all walks of life, corporate communities respectively – to assist us with the roofing of the school, we would like to invite each one of you to please assist us with a once off donation of R350.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home, believes that one thousand (1000) of us pledging R350 or any amount – support towards the roofing of New Jerusalem Children’s Home primary school (Lanto Montessori Primary School) on or before the last day of September 2018, will certainly see a roof going up on the walls of the educational structure on the second week of October 2018.
