We are just a few weeks away to saying goodbye to the most fruitful year, the year 2015.

I believe you all know of our passion and love for children, having been established care for children in the year 2000 we continue to find much joy and honor, through you and your many supportive means and will to assist us we have seen New Jerusalem Children’s Home and its children being sustained and smiling with the deepest joy.

As we are about to enter into the festive period and line-up of celebrations with families and friends, we would like to ask for your help, New Jerusalem Children’s Home has 87 children with different social challenges amongst some of our children’s challenges being orphaned, abandoned, abused, traumatized, vulnerable and HIV positive. It is around the festive period when we come to ask communities and corporate communities to assist with back to school essentials ranging from:

School Bags x90
A4 Counter books x200
A4 exercise book x400
Exam pad x400
Pencils x500
Pen x300
Crayons x40 packs
Rulers x100
Erasers
Pencil sharpeners
Scientific and business calculators

It doesn’t seem like we are doing justice by quantifying the stationary needed for our children for the 2016 academic year, can you please assist with stationary for our children in Pre-school, Primary and secondary school…

We also have a strong need for school uniform and school shoes, sizes and types are available and we are happy to send it to you, we wish to close this drive by no later than 14 December 2015, further wishing to have all our children in a happy back to school mood come January 2016.

We are humbly asking for your help in putting a smile on these beautiful children’s faces and giving them confident they need to stand without fear or stigma of their background.
