WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2015

SideFirst Successful Matriculant

To start off a beautiful year, we are proud to announce that New Jerusalem’s oldest child and first matriculant Themba … successfully completed and passed his matric exams. Themba will embark upon a new journey, as he grows even closer to achieving independence and representing New Jerusalem’s most holistic success story.

Numerous fundraisers and charity events

Stay tuned and engaged with New Jerusalem as it promises to have several fundraisers during the course of the year. These have the aim of raising much needed support for various initiatives around the home.

AFRA Training & Development Centre

This year it is the aim of the organization to launch its training center providing much needed vocational training to auxiliary social workers and care givers. The organization remains invested in skills and enterprise development and hence, this will be a vehicle for that purpose.

Completion of New Residential Building

The start and completion of the new residential boys building is a fundamental goal for the year that needs as much support possible to make it a reality. The building is meant to accommodate all boys of New Jerusalem, exposing them to modern quality accommodation.

Helios & Vester Bakery expansion

This year our flagship project Helios & Vester Bakery plans to expand and have its products stocked and delivered to a wider Midrand community and beyond. We encourage all our readers to partake in aiding in the success of our bakery by placing regular orders of baked goods.

SPECIAL THANKS

This section is dedicated as an ode to all partners large and small, parents, friends, well-wishers, volunteers, donors, and prospective partners that made the year 2014 a success at New Jerusalem. We honestly cannot determine the extent to which your help propels us forward as an organization but we want you all to know that you are a fundamental reason why our doors remain open and we continue to put smiles on our children’s faces.

As Tata Madiba stated that ‘the true revelation of a society’s soul is how it treats its children’ we sincerely thank you and pray that God bless you all for helping to brighten the future of disadvantaged children. Your contribution helps sew seeds of hope, which has no price tag. From NJCH, Thank You!!!
