This year New Jerusalem Children’s Home is celebrating 16 years, how about we make Saturday – July 16, 2016 sweet 16 birthday celebration for all children of New Jerusalem Children’s Home who will be turning 16 this year?
We know – short notice, but possible…
New Jerusalem Children’s Home would like to invite you to take part in the 2016 Mandela Day activities of the home on 16 July 2016. After doing activities we aim to have a sweet 16 birthday celebration for all our children who will be turning 16 years.
Activities of the day includes:
1) Baking
2) Celebrating the day with our children
3) Cleaning carpets of the home
4) Cleaning windows
5) Cooking
6) Doing children’s hair in our salon
7) Gardening work
8) Ironing children’s cloths
9) Painting pavements
10) Painting walls
11) Planting seedling in the food garden
12) Pledging towards boy’s residential unit
13) Redrawing the soccer ground lines
14) Removing weeds on the grass
15) Replacing broken windows
16) Setting up for the birthday celebration (sweet 16 theme)
