Mandela Day Celebration

We at New Jerusalem Children’s Home, Midrand call upon members of our proud nation to join us in celebrating the life of an Icon. No matter if you are a corporate or individual, we ask that you partner with our home in commemorating your 67 minutes and more of public service.

Every year we aim in making the month of July truly special for our disadvantaged children and this is only made possible through the kind participation of community members as yourselves. Through this celebration of Mandela’s Birth, we aim to serve as a global call to action for people to recognize their individual power to make an imprint and help change the world around them for the better.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home (NJCH) is a 24 hour holistic residential care centre which provides care services aimed at addressing the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of orphaned and vulnerable children and youth from 0-18 years. It opened its doors in 2000 to this day provides essential social work services: therapeutic, counseling, reunification of children, facilitation of foster and adoption, developmental, therapeutic and recreational programs.
