Count down to Woman of Passion

Its only 11 days before we all gather to celebrate and commemorate the women who made a difference in New Jerusalem Children’s Home.

Mme Phina and Mme Anna MojapeloMany have asked if this event is only meant for women; with a smile on my face and inner joy, allow me to say that the event is meant for all men and women who walked through gates of New Jerusalem Children’s Home with an aim of bettering it and lifting it to higher grounds to make it a home it is to children.

The event is named Woman of Passion simply because New Jerusalem Children’s Home was founded by sisters; women, Mme Anna and Mme Phina Mojapelo who through their passion is seeing children being batter role players in communities, be it in South African or international communities. The event is open to women, Men, couples and individuals who wishes to share this remarkable day with the sisters.

Am sure a question you might have is “what are we trying to achieve with this event?”.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home is trying to attain smiles from all those that have been and all those who are still with the organisation and those soon to partner with us. Apart from a smile wished for, we aim to attain support from individuals and corporates towards our boys residential unit, this is a new building which we wish to build for boys of the home. Building of the residential unit will bring an even greater smile to the sister’s faces as the sisters have expressed that they are not happy with how boys are being sheltered. They further expressed that their 2015 wish is to start a foundation to start a R3.3 Million residential unit for boys, “good thing is we managed to raise R400 000.00 towards the building of a boys residential unit and we wish our friends, partners, donors and sponsors can help us fundraise R2.9 Million” said Mme Anna Mojapelo.

These are the two major things we wish to attain from Woman of Passion Lunch, however the event remains a celebration and a commemoration of all good deeds by all men and women who walked through our gates, we believe that men always have a positive role to play in making things special, therefore we would also wish to extend this event to all men out there, your presence will give this event an honour it deserve.
