Mme Anna Mojapelo – NJCH CEO

Please allow me by first saying “Every time you do a good deed you shine the light a little further into the dark. The thing is, when you’re gone that light is going to keep shining on, pushing the shadows back.”

I would like to thank you all for celebrating Mandela Month with us, the joy and positive energies you have brought into our organisation has truly given us a lot to reflect back on and smile. To this day our children are recalling the many beautiful and handsome faces they have met during Mandela month. There is an African proverb which says “Honour a child, and he will honour you” you may not know – but your visitation has sparked a positive life into our children, from wishing to drive cars you drive, working in jobsyou do, to caring and giving the way you gave to the needy.

As the world wave goodbye to Mandela Day/Month I too would like to say “thank you, thank you for not only celebrating the day with us but for pushing the shadows back and away from our organisation, the walls you have painted, bakery you have revamped, food garden you have replanted after harvesting, the garden you have beautified, the joys, smiles, laughter, fun and meals you have shared with our children and staff members of the organisation, path ways you have created and painted, all this and many you have given us during this Mandela month has brought light into our organisation and into our lives.

I would like us to take this relationship forward, I would like you to make New Jerusalem Children’s Home your preferred home to make a difference in, to volunteer your family and friends time at and to better a child’s life. I am sure you have seen how big the home is and how much support is needed in the organisation, the support ranges from assisting with the monthly groceries of the home, periodic supply of school uniform, sponsoring a child’s education and to helping with our monthly operational costs i.e. telephones/internet, water and electricity and fuel for the cars.

As we continue to ask you to “shine the light a little further into the dark” we would like to ask you to please be our partner, make us your beneficiary and contribute any amount direct into our account.

Your presence at New Jerusalem Children’s Home during this period made me smile and appreciate you even more, with the current economic condition I wasn’t truly expecting for so much from our Mandela wish list to be achieved.

I truly thank you and appreciate your love, support and presence, please become our partner and be our monthly contributor of any amount, our banking details are:
