For over 25 years, New Jerusalem Children’s Home stood as a beacon of hope and a steadfast advocate for children's rights. We provide care for abandoned, abused, traumatised, orphaned and vulnerable children from birth to 18 years of age. Our journey began with a vision: to create a safe, nurturing, and holistic environment where every child can thrive—regardless of their background or circumstances.

At New Jerusalem Children’s Home, we believe that every child deserves love, support, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide not only shelter and basic needs but also education, spiritual and emotional guidance, and essential life skills training. We empower children to dream boldly and equip them with the tools they need to turn those dreams into reality. Over the years, we have been strong advocates for children's rights —ensuring their voices are heard, and their needs are met. We actively engage with local communities, policymakers, and partner organizations to raise awareness and influence legislation that impacts children's lives.

New Jerusalem Children’s Home (NJCH) is a Christ Consciousness, faith-based non-profit organisation currently providing care for 120 children from birth to 18 years of age. Our home is situated on a 26,000 m² agricultural smallholding in Midrand, South Africa. This land was generously was donated to the children by Anna Mojapelo and has since been transferred into a Trust for their long-term benefit. Our facilities include nurseries for babies, separate residential areas for girls and boys, a communal kitchen, a Montessori pre-school, primary and high school, playgrounds, sports facilities, and a thriving permaculture vegetable garden. We are deeply committed to sustainability and strive to reuse, recycle and to minimize our carbon footprint in every way possible. Join us in our mission to build a brighter future for every child.
